DeSean William Jackson

DeSean Williams Jackson was a prodigy from the start. His stellar athletic presence led him to the University of California Berkeley, where after just three seasons with the Golden Bears he held Pac-10 records for punt returns and ranked third all-time at Cal for receiving yards and receiving. In his first game for the Golden Bears, Jackson scored both an offensive and special teams touchdown, returning a punt 49 yards for a score and foreshadowing his brilliant college career.  He left Cal holding Pac-10 records for punts returned for a touchdown both in a season (four) and in a career (six).

DeSean Jackson will go down in NFL history as a star wide receiver. Just recently, DeSean signed with the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2022 season. The NFL star is looking forward to making his mark in his West Coast roots. DeSean’s hard work, passion, unparalleled speed, remarkable kick returns, and raw talent have made him a 14 year NFL veteran.

DeSean declared for the NFL Draft in 2008. His NFL dreams came true when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round. He went on to have an unbelievable rookie season, finishing with two receiving touchdowns and a team-leading 62 receptions. He also led the NFL with 50 punt returns, an Eagles’ rookie record and third all time. DeSean continued to shine for the Eagles, appearing in three Pro Bowls during his six seasons with the team.

In 2014, at the height of his career, DeSean parted ways with the Philadelphia Eagles and signed with the then-Washington Redskins in one of the most publicized transactions of the year. After a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, DeSean found his way back to the Eagles at the start of the 2019 season and where he continued to be a key playmaker. DeSean proved himself once again with the Eagles. During the 2020 season, he pushed himself and earned 25 career touchdowns over 60 yards, the most in NFL history! DeSean’s remarkable talent and consistency is clear.  It  is no surprise the NFL star has been named to the NFL’s Top 100 List an unprecedented four times.
